The nervous system is made up of the brain, the spinal cord and nerves. The nerves control every organ in your body. The brain is the control centre of the body. The spinal cord is the pathway for sending messages through the body. The messages travel through the spinal cord.
The job of the nervous system is to control everything you do. It controls breathing, walking, thinking and feeling. The nerves carry messages to the brain so the brain can figure them out and take action.
Cerebral Palsy damage happens in early pregnancy when the brain is just starting to form during the birth process. Parents will start to notice the first sitting of C.P. such as the baby not rolling over, crawling, sitting or waking at the correct ages.
Multiple Sclerosis is a complex disease. It affects you adults from about 15 to 40. It affects vision, hearing, memory, balance and mobility. It affects emotions and lasts a lifetime.
